Price wise, it normally comes in just under the $100 price tag, but definitely great value for money.

Our Verdict

This is a really great Quadcopter to suit all levels with lots of cool features and good quality camera.

It has various speed modes so suits beginners and intermediate level enthusiasts and it all comes at a very competitive price.

We think it looks great too!

This is an RTF (Ready To Fly) Quadcopter so you don’t need anything else to get you flying.

You do need to attach the landing gear and blade protectors but this is very easy and just a case of using the screwdriver which is included to fix them in place.

Connect the battery and camera which both just clip in and off you go.

Due to the flying time versus charging time, it’s always a very good idea to have extra batteries as they can run out quicker than you think, so it’s good news that the F181C comes with 2 batteries as standard.

One small consideration with this Quad though it tends to heat up which can eventually cause damage to the parts if ignored, so it’s recommended to give it a rest of about 10 minutes between battery changes and if you do this you won’t have any problems.

The display on the controller is pretty good and gives you information on your Quads performance such as speed, battery power, signal strength and trim settings.

The controller is quite easy to get the hang of and you should be able to get a good level of control in a short space of time.

The 6-axis gyro is a great feature which helps keep the Drone more stable during flight, making it easier to control and keep steady.

It’s also super easy to do flips at the push of a button which can be done in 4 directions.

The F181C also comes with Headless Mode and a return button feature which is very handy to prevent loss of your Drone as all you need to do is press a key and your Quadcopter will return back to you.

Another really great feature which has been added is Altitude Hold which allows you to make the Quadcopter hover at its current altitude.

This makes it easy to regain control should you need to and also helps you get decent quality images or videos.

The camera is 2 Mega Pixel and has autofocus, but there is no gimbal stabilization, so be prepared for possibly some shaky footage results.

Also there is no FPV (First Person View) option, but for the price you can’t really argue too much.

You do however have LED lighting, so you can fly at night which not only helps you do this but looks very cool too!

This is a very sturdy Quadcopter and will withstand a fair amount of crashes or accidents, once again making it a great choice for beginners, and parts are also readily available if required.
